AIIMS launches Training Module of Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis
Delhi-AIIMS launched Training Module of Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis' on occasion of World TB Day on March 24, 2023. This module will aid in the training of medical professionals at various levels of healthcare in all of Southeast Asia in management of EPTB. EPTB refers to TB involving organs other than the lungs.
“On the occasion of world TB day let us add another feather in the cap of our Department of Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi. With herculean effort from the residents and faculty of our department, under the leadership of Prof. Naveet Wig sir, we have been able to launch the the 'Training Module of Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis',” the Department of Medicine, Delhi-AIIMS stated in a press release issued on March 24,2023.
