West Bengal govt forms panel on Center’s proposal of All India Medical Service
The West Bengal government has formed a committee of experts to examine the proposal of the Union Health Ministry for the creation of All India Medical Service.
An office order issued by a senior special secretary to the Government of West Bengal read that a committee is formed to examine the proposal of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare government of India for the creation of All India Medical Service to improve technical leadership and management both at the centre and the state level.
The committee includes Deputy Director of Health Services (Admin)-Convener, Special Secretary and Additional Director of Health Services (Personnel)-Chairman, Additional Director of Health Services (Admin)-Member, Deputy Secretary (MERT)-Member, Assistant Director of Medical Education Member, Deputy Secretary (Medical Administration)-Member and Deputy Secretary (Central Administration)-Member.
