Venus Remedies gets workplace safety excellence award
Venus Remedies, a worldwide-known pharmaceutical firm headquartered in Chandigarh, was recognised in the safety award category for completing the longest accident-free period at the Haryana Labour Department's workplace safety and health awareness seminar.
The session, titled "The Best Investment is Investment in Health and Safety," emphasised the need for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Sh. Rajeev Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Haryana Labour Department, attended the occasion, asking industries to prioritise employee well-being in their operations.
The program included enlightening conversations about the necessity of building a safety culture, providing sufficient training, and equipping workplaces with updated protective gear. Experts also discussed optimal practices for risk management and employee welfare.
