TNRDA Calls for Immediate Release of Vacancy and Seniority Lists for Bond Service Counselling

The Tamil Nadu Resident Doctors Association (TNRDA) has urged the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (DPH) to promptly release the post vacancy and seniority lists for the upcoming online counselling session for Non-Service Post Graduates in Broad Speciality. Scheduled for March 11, 2025, the counselling process is crucial in determining the bond service postings for postgraduate doctors set to complete their courses this year.

Conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research in Chennai, the online counselling process plays a vital role in ensuring an organized and fair allocation of service postings. However, the absence of an updated vacancy list and seniority details has raised concerns among medical professionals, who fear unnecessary delays and confusion. TNRDA has emphasized that the timely release of this information is essential to maintaining transparency and efficiency in the selection process.

Dr. M. Keerthy Varman, General Secretary of TNRDA, stressed the importance of clarity in bond service allocation and called on the authorities to take immediate action. He stated that any delays in publishing the required lists could disrupt young doctors' career progression and create unnecessary stress during a crucial transition period.

TNRDA remains committed to advocating for a seamless and just counselling process, urging officials to act without further delay. The association continues to stand by resident doctors to ensure that fair placement procedures are followed and that medical professionals can begin their service without obstacles.
