Swami Dayanand Hospital Fully Prepared to Tackle the Heatwave 

From chilled drinking water to protective shades, hospital administration ensures all-round arrangements for patients  Swami Dayanand Hospital, which operates under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), has declared itself fully prepared to combat the ongoing heatwave.

The hospital has arranged for 24-hour access to cold drinking water for patients. Additionally, fans, coolers, and shaded waiting areas have been set up to protect patients from the scorching sun while they wait for treatment. 

Dr. Narottam Das, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, is personally inspecting wards and waiting areas to assess and oversee the heatwave preparedness. 

Dr. Das has emphasized regular monitoring of the cooling systems, ensured the availability of essential medicines, and directed the staff to maintain adequate stock of intravenous fluids, ice packs, and oral rehydration solutions (ORS).

He confirmed that all wards in the hospital are equipped with air conditioners, and each ward is being checked to make sure the AC units are functioning properly.

The hospital administration is fully committed to providing patients with a comfortable and efficient treatment experience.

  According to the hospital administration, preparations to deal with the summer heat have been underway for the past several months. Compared to previous years, the number of water coolers has been significantly increased.

Water coolers have now been installed in emergency rooms, wards, waiting areas, and outpatient departments (OPDs), ensuring that patients have easy access to cold water at all times. 

A patient visiting the hospital also praised the arrangements, stating that the water facilities were excellent. Each water cooler is equipped with an RO (Reverse Osmosis) system, providing clean and safe drinking water.

The hospital staff also appeared fully satisfied with the measures taken to combat the heat.
