Zynova Shalby Hospital Launches 'The Good Doctors' Podcast on National Doctors’ Day

In a meaningful celebration of National Doctors’ Day, Zynova Shalby Hospital has launched an innovative podcast series titled “The Good Doctors”—a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at delivering trusted medical knowledge directly to the community. The six-episode series is designed to provide expert healthcare insights, practical tips, and preventative guidance in a conversational, easy-to-understand format. Each episode is approximately 30 minutes long and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The podcast was officially unveiled at a special launch event attended by the hospital’s staff, leadership team, and distinguished members of the medical fraternity. The initiative is being hailed as a new-age platform for healthcare education, connecting people with reliable medical advice from the comfort of their homes.

Season 1 of The Good Doctors features expert voices from core specialties, including Cardiology, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery (CVTS), Pulmonology, Dietetics, and Physiotherapy. These doctors will discuss a wide range of pressing health topics—from childhood allergies and women’s health to chronic lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, heart conditions, stroke, cancer, and arthritis.

“The podcast is more than just a source of information—it’s a tribute to the doctors who serve as lifelines for their patients,” said Mr. Reny Verghese, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Zynova Shalby Hospital. “Doctors are more than healers—they are listeners, guides, and a source of unwavering support. With ‘The Good Doctors’ podcast, we are extending that trust and care beyond hospital walls, directly into people’s homes. Through this series, our goal is to make expert-backed health information accessible to everyone and inspire a culture of proactive wellness. On National Doctors’ Day, there could be no better tribute than giving our doctors a platform to educate, connect, and care in a new way.”

By offering timely, expert-backed content in an approachable format, The Good Doctors podcast represents a forward-thinking approach to community engagement. It seeks to bridge the gap between the public and healthcare professionals by fostering a deeper understanding of health, prevention, and wellness.

More than just a health series, The Good Doctors marks the beginning of a larger movement—one that redefines how healthcare conversations unfold outside the hospital setting.
