Indications

Prevention of development of Anti-D antibodies in Rh negative mothers after child birth.


Dosage

Prophylaxis after delivery, abortion, amniocentesis: 250-300 mcg i.m. within 72 hrs. Massive transplacental haemorrhage: 25 mcg/ml of foetal erythorcytes.


Contra-Indications

Rh-o(D) positive or D-u positive. Rh-o(D) negative or D-u negative patient previously sensitized to Rh-o(D) positive infant.


Special Precautions

Patients with 1gA antibodies or a history of a typical reaction to blood or blood products. Concomitant admin. of live vaccines warm to body temperature before injecting. Store between 2-8 degree C
