LATANOPROST
It is a prostaglandin F2a analogue. It is a prostanoid selective FP receptor agonist which is believed to reduce the intra-ocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour.Reduction of elevated intra-ocular pressure in patients with primary open glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
One drop in affected eye once daily in the evening.
Hypersensitivity.
Latanoprost may gradually change eye colour.
Latanoprost may cause darkening, thickening and lengthening of eye lashes.
