It is an extract from Almond seeds obtained from Prunus dulcis commonly known as the almond tree. Almond oil contains vitamin E, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, and omega-3 fatty acids. It exhibits antioxidant, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, helps to improve immunity, and enhances memory function.

Indications

Rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, cardiac diseases, diabetes, eczema, itching, hair loss, psoriasis, dry skin, fatigue, rashes, dandruff, and constipation.


Dosage

The average dose for adults is 40-80 grams daily in divided doses.


Contra-Indications

Kidney disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatic impairment.


Special Precautions

Consult a Physician before using it during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Large doses of this drug may cause chronic toxicity.


Side Effects

Allergic reactions like swelling, rash, itching, weight gain, increased cholesterol, and abdominal discomfort.
