ALPHA-AMYLASE ENZYMES
It is a digestive enzyme secreted by the pancreas and salivary glands in the human body. It is also obtained from plants, animals, and microorganisms. It helps to hydrolyse the starch into glucose molecules and is used to treat a variety of digestive disorders.Pancreatitis, cancer, tumour, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, diabetes, and abdominal distension.
It is contraindicated in patients with glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, liver diseases, and kidney problems.
It is recommended to consult a physician before using it during pregnancy and lactation. Alcohol consumption while taking alpha-amylase can cause severe toxicity.
