ALPHA BISABOLOL/ LEVOMENOL

Levomenol or alpha-bisabolol is a significant skin-soothing agent. It has antidepressant, anti-anxiety, antioxidant, anti-microbial, analgesic anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer as well as antibiotic properties, and is mostly used in cosmetic preparations.

Indications

Skin infection, inflammation, skin dryness, pain, stress, tumour and cancer.

Dosage

For adults, the recommended daily dose is 3 grams a day, divided doses. The suggested daily dose for children is between 0.75 and 1.5 grams per day depending on their body weight.

It is suggested that pregnant women should not use this drug and consult a doctor during lactation.

Side Effects

Hypersensitivity reactions, dizziness, and shortness of breath.
