Amlodipine with Ramipril

Ramipril?with?amlodipine had significantly higher 1-year treatment adherence than ramipril with?hydrochlorothiazide in patients with hypertension.

Indications

For reduction of cardiovascular mortality, myocardial infarction (myocardial infarction prophylaxis) and stroke (stroke prophylaxis) in adults 55 years or older who are at high risk of developing major cardiovascular events.

Dosage

Once Daily.

Special Precautions

Kidney problems: 1.25 mg once per day. Your doctor may increase your dose to 5 mg taken once per day if needed for blood pressure control.

Side Effects

Blurred vision, confusion, dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position, sweating, unusual tiredness or weakness
