Barbitone
Barbitone, also known as barbital, is a barbiturate derivative used primarily as a sedative and hypnotic. It works by depressing the central nervous system, which helps induce sleep and relieve anxiety.-Insomnia -Anxiety disorders -Preoperative sedation -Seizure control
-Adults: 100-200 mg orally at bedtime for insomnia; 50-100 mg orally 1-3 times daily for anxiety. -Children: Dosage must be individualized by a healthcare professional based on age, weight, and clinical condition.
