It belongs to gliflozin class or subtype 2 sodium-glucose transport (SGLT-2) inhibitors class.Type 2 Diabetes mellitus.
Oral: 100-300 mg a day before meal.
Anaphylaxis, end stage renal disease.
Paediatric: Data not sufficient. Pregnancy: Not recommended in 2nd and 3rd trimester. Lactation: Data not sufficient. Elderly: Use with caution, Renal function to be monitored.
urinary tract infections, increased urination,Hypotension,Ketoacidosis,Hyperkalemiayeast infections, vaginal itching, thirst, constipation, nausea, fatigue, weakness, skin sensitivity to sunlight, hypersensitivity reactions (including skin redness, rash, itching, hives, and swelling), bone fractures, Increases in Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) and Acute kidney injury.
