Carbocisteine
Carbocisteine is a mucolytic agent that works by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up. It is chemically classified as a thiol derivative and is available in various formulations such as syrups and capsules.-Acute and chronic respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production, such as bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchiectasis. -Symptomatic relief of cough associated with respiratory tract infections.
