Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole

Indications

Moderate to severe systemic infections which include --- - GI infections like appendicitis, cholecystitis. - post operative infections after abnormal / gy naecological operation - lung infections like bronchectasis, lung ab scess, empyema, cystic fibrosis. - acute or chronic bone and joint infections especially of foot. - diabetic infections, especially of the foot. - infections in immunocompromised patients. - patients taking steroids and/or anticancer drugs or antimeta

Dosage

One tablet twice daily after food.

Contra-Indications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Renal insufficiency, avoid alcohol, pregnancy, lactation, children.

Side Effects

Same as that of Tinidazole and Ciprofloxacin alone.
