Dextromethorphan, Ambroxol, Pheniramine, Menthol
Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that helps in thinning and loosening mucus in the airways. Pheniramine is an antihistamine that relieves symptoms of allergies such as itching, sneezing, and runny nose. -Adults and children over 12 years old: Take 10 ml of the syrup every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding 40 ml in 24 hours. -Children aged 6 to 12 years old: Take 5 ml of the syrup every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding 20 ml in 24 hours. -Not recommended for children under 6 years old without medical advice.
-Hypersensitivity to any of the components. -Severe hypertension. -Severe hepatic impairment. -Use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the past 14 days.
