Eflornithine Hydrochloride is a medication used primarily for the treatment of African sleeping sickness (Trypanosomiasis), particularly the second stage of the disease caused by Trypanosoma brucei gambiense. It works by inhibiting an enzyme essential for the growth of the parasite.

Indications

African Sleeping Sickness (Stage II): Effective against Trypanosoma brucei gambiense infections.


Dosage

Contra-Indications
