ERGOLOID MESYLATES

Indications

Mild to moerate dementia, age related dementia.

Dosage

Adult: PO3-4.5mg/day (TDS). oral and sublingual preparations are available.

Contra-Indications

Hypersensitivity, acute or chronic psychosis.

Special Precautions

Pregnancy. Severe bradycardia. Take with food or milk to prevent gastric upset.

Side Effects

Transient nausea and gastric disturbances.

Drug Interactions

other ergots, ioflupane.
