ESTRIOL SUCCINATE

Estriol Succinate is a form of the estrogen hormone estriol, used in hormone replacement therapy. It helps to relieve symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness.

Indications

-Treatment of menopausal symptoms -Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) -Relief of postmenopausal symptoms like hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and atrophic vaginitis


Dosage

-Typical Dose: 1 mg to 2 mg daily, as prescribed by a healthcare provider. -Administration: Oral tablets; follow the dosage instructions provided by the prescribing physician.


Contra-Indications

-Known hypersensitivity to estriol or any component of the formulation -History of hormone-sensitive cancers (e.g., breast cancer) -Active or history of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism -Severe liver impairment -Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding


Special Precautions

-Monitor for signs of venous thromboembolism. -Use with caution in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease. -Regular gynecological check-ups are recommended. -Caution in patients with a history of liver disease.
