Fluocinolone Acetonide is a corticosteroid used to treat a variety of inflammatory and allergic skin conditions. It works by reducing inflammation, redness, and swelling.

Indications

-Eczema -Psoriasis -Dermatitis -Allergic reactions


Dosage

-Topical application: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1-2 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare provider. -Dosage adjustments: Follow specific instructions provided by your doctor based on the severity and type of condition.


Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to Fluocinolone Acetonide or any of its components -Viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections (unless treated simultaneously) -Tuberculosis of the skin -Rosacea


Special Precautions

-Avoid using on large areas or for prolonged periods. -Use with caution in children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. -Do not apply to broken or infected skin. -Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.


Side Effects

-Skin irritation -Burning or itching -Dryness or peeling of the skin -Skin thinning or striae (stretch marks) with prolonged use


Drug Interactions

-May interact with other topical medications or corticosteroids. -Use with caution if using other medications that can cause skin thinning or irritation.
