Glyceryl Guaiacolate

Glyceryl Guaiacolate, also known as Guaiacol Glyceryl Ether, is an expectorant used to relieve cough and congestion by thinning mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up.

Indications

-Chronic bronchitis -Asthma -Acute respiratory infections -Other conditions associated with excessive mucus production

Dosage

-Adults: 200-400 mg, taken 2-3 times daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare provider. -Children: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare provider based on age and weight.

Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to Glyceryl Guaiacolate or any component of the formulation -Severe liver impairment -Severe renal impairment
