Heparin Gel

Heparin Gel is a topical anticoagulant used to prevent and treat blood clots. It is commonly applied to reduce inflammation and improve blood flow in conditions such as superficial thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, and bruises.

Indications

-Superficial thrombophlebitis -Varicose veins -Bruises and hematomas -Inflammation and swelling


Dosage

Apply a thin layer of Heparin Gel to the affected area 2-3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Gently massage the gel into the skin until fully absorbed.


Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to heparin or any of the excipients -Open wounds, mucous membranes, or infected areas -Severe bleeding disorders


Special Precautions

-Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or a history of thrombocytopenia. -Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. -Not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice. -Monitor for signs of allergic reactions, such as rash or itching.

Drug Interactions
