Haematomas. Superficial thrombo-phlebitis. Tenosynovitis. Sprains & bruises.
Do not apply to bleeding areas or eyes. Patch test for tolerance before use on chronic open lesions.
Not for systemic use or application to mucus mebranes. Paediatrics: Reduced dose necessary. Pregnancy: Use with caution. Lactation: No evidence of risk. Elderly: No special problem.
Bleeding, rash, aching bones, thrombocytopenia, alopecia, anaphylaxis, rigor, slight haematuria. hypersensitivity reactions include urticaria, conjunctivitis, rhinitis, asthma, angioedema and anaphylactic shock, priapism.
Salicylates and dipyridamole enhances activity. Increased effec with oral anticoagulant Phenylbutazone, Streptokinase. Incompatible with aminoglycoside antibiotics. Antiplatelet drugs like aspirin may precipitate bleeding.
