HIGHLY PURIFIED NETURAL INSULIN

Indications

-Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 -Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 requiring insulin therapy -Hyperglycemia in patients with diabetes

Dosage

-Adults and Children: Dosage should be individualized based on the patient's metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring results, and glycemic goals. -Initial Dose: Typically, 0.5 to 1.0 unit per kg of body weight per day, divided into multiple doses. -Adjustment: Dosage adjustments should be based on frequent blood glucose testing and patient response.

Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to insulin or any of the excipients in the formulation -Hypoglycemia

Special Precautions

-Regular blood glucose monitoring is essential. -Adjustments in dosage may be necessary during illness, stress, changes in diet, or exercise. -Patients should be educated on recognizing signs of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. -Caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. -Ensure proper injection technique to avoid intramuscular injection.

Drug Interactions
