Levetiracetam

Indications

Partial onset seizures, Myoclonic Seizures, Primary Generalized Tonic-Clonic Seizures.

Dosage

Adults : 16 yrs & older : 2 tablets/day. Paediatric Patients 4 to g in 2 divided doses (10mg/kg BID)

Special Precautions

Pregnancy category : C Nursing mother : Not recommended. Paediatric patients : Not safe below 4 yrs of age. Geriatric Patients : No overall differences in safety were observed.

Side Effects

Somnolence, ataxia, hairless, depresion etc.
