Levo-Carnitine (Levocarnitine) is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative that plays a crucial role in the production of energy by transporting fatty acids into your cells' mitochondria, which act as engines within your cells, burning these fats to create usable energy.

Indications

Levo-Carnitine is indicated for the treatment of primary systemic carnitine deficiency, secondary carnitine deficiency (associated with inborn errors of metabolism, hemodialysis, or other medical conditions), and for individuals with certain medical conditions requiring carnitine supplementation.


Dosage

-Adults: The usual dose ranges from 1 to 3 grams per day, divided into multiple doses. -Children: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare provider based on weight and clinical condition. -Always follow the prescribed dosage by your healthcare provider.


Contra-Indications

-Known hypersensitivity to Levo-Carnitine or any of its components. -Patients with a history of seizures (may exacerbate condition).

Side Effects
