Levomilnacipran
Levomilnacipran is a medication used primarily in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It belongs to a class of drugs known as serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Levomilnacipran is the levorotatory enantiomer of milnacipran, an SNRI. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which are neurotransmitters associated with mood regulation.
