NONOXYNOL
Nonoxynol is a non-ionic surfactant and is commonly used as a spermicide in contraceptive products. It acts by destroying the sperm cells, preventing them from reaching the egg.-Contraceptive use as a spermicide. -May be used in various contraceptive products like gels, foams, and suppositories.

-Hypersensitivity: Avoid use if there is known hypersensitivity to Nonoxynol or any of its components. -Pregnancy: Not recommended for use during pregnancy.
-Frequent Use: Frequent use may increase the risk of genital irritation or infections. -HIV and STDs: Nonoxynol does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or HIV.
