PHTHALYSULPHACETAMIDE
Phthalylsulphacetamide is a sulfonamide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria.-Bacterial conjunctivitis -Superficial eye infections -Other bacterial infections as prescribed by a healthcare provider
-The typical dosage for adults and children will depend on the specific condition being treated. -For bacterial conjunctivitis, a common dose is 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2-3 hours during the day. -Follow the prescribing doctor's instructions.
-Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or any component of the formulation. -Patients with a history of drug-induced thrombocytopenia with use of sulfonamides. -Severe renal or hepatic impairment.
