Indications

Constipation; facilitation of bowel movement during pregnancy, in cases of high blood pressure & haemorrhoidal complaints.

Dosage

1 level teaspoonful in the morning & evening after meals.

Contra-Indications

Ileus

Special Precautions

Diabetics,pregnancy,lactation.

Side Effects

Long term use can lead to increased electrolyte excretion (especially potassium) or to melanosis coli (benign).
