Potassium Guaiacolate Sulfonate is an expectorant used to treat coughs and congestion by helping to loosen mucus in the airways.

Indications

-Chronic bronchitis -Asthma -Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) -Other conditions associated with excessive mucus production


Dosage

-Adults: Typically 100-200 mg, 3-4 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare provider. -Children: Dosage should be adjusted based on age and weight. Consult a pediatrician for appropriate dosing.


Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to guaiacolate or any component of the formulation. -Severe renal impairment.


Special Precautions
