R DNA Human Monocomponent Isophane Insulin is a synthetic form of insulin used to control high blood sugar in people with diabetes mellitus. It is an intermediate-acting insulin with a slower onset and longer duration of action compared to regular human insulin.This insulin is indicated for the management of diabetes mellitus in adults and children who require insulin for the control of hyperglycemia.
