Residronate
It is a bisphosphonate.Prevention of osteoporosis, Paget's disease.
35mg daily once a day should be taken 30minutes or more before first food of the day with 200ml of plain water (do not take with mineral water, orange juice, dairy product). Do not lie down or atleast 30 minutes after taking residronate.
Pregnancy.
Calcium and vitamin D supplements should be taken.
Upset Stomatch, flatulence, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, heartburn, bone or joint pain, leg cramps, acid reflux, GI irritation, dizziness, nervousness, sinusitis, dry eyes, changes in vision, ringing in the ears, headache, back pain.
