Salicylic acid
Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) commonly used in skincare products for its exfoliating and acne-treating properties. -Known hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or other salicylates -Avoid use on broken or irritated skin -Not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age
-Use with caution in patients with eczema or psoriasis -Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and mouth -Do not use on large areas of the body or for prolonged periods
-Skin irritation (redness, peeling, dryness) -Allergic reactions (itching, swelling, rash) -Possible exacerbation of existing skin conditions
