Indications

-Disinfection of medical instruments -Antiseptic for wounds and skin infections -Treatment of fungal infections -Agricultural fungicide and bactericide


Dosage

-Topical application: Apply a 0.1-1% solution to the affected area 1-2 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare provider. -Disinfection: Use a 0.1-1% solution for disinfecting surfaces and instruments.


Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to pentachlorophenol or any of its derivatives -Not to be used on large open wounds -Avoid use in patients with compromised liver function


Special Precautions

-Use with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women -Avoid prolonged or excessive use -Ensure proper dilution to avoid skin irritation or chemical burns -Use protective gloves and clothing when handling the compound
