TERCONAZOLE

TERCONAZOLE

It is a new antifungal agent. Though broadly it belongs to the azole class of antifungals, it contains a triazole ring instead of an imidazole ring. Therefore it is closer to fluconazole and itraconazole than to the imidazole antifungals. It is active not only against Candida albicans but against other fungi also.
