Tranylcypromine

-Hypersensitivity to tranylcypromine or any component of the formulation -Concurrent use with other MAOIs or within 14 days of discontinuing other MAOIs -Pheochromocytoma -Cardiovascular disease -History of liver disease
-Use with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorders -Avoid consuming foods high in tyramine (e.g., aged cheeses, cured meats) and sympathomimetic agents to prevent hypertensive crisis -Monitor blood pressure regularly during treatment
