Indications

-Treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency -Hypoparathyroidism -Rickets -Osteomalacia -Chronic kidney disease


Contra-Indications

-Hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood) -Malabsorption syndrome -Hypervitaminosis D -Allergy to ergocalciferol or any other ingredient in the formulation


Special Precautions

-Monitor blood calcium levels regularly. -Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. -Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare provider before use. -Inform the doctor about any other medications or supplements being taken.

Drug Interactions
