Samyak's story is a testament to both medical innovation and human strength, highlighted by a groundbreaking Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplant conducted at HCGMCC.

Diagnosed with Thalassemia Major at just six months old, Samyak's life hinged on regular blood transfusions. The absence of a suitable donor posed a significant hurdle until his family turned to Dr. Dwivedi, renowned for his expertise in Hematology and Stem Cell Transplants.

In November 2022, Dr. Dwivedi embarked on a pioneering approach, opting for a complex yet life-altering Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplant, with Samyak's father stepping up as the donor. This decision defied the odds and marked a historic milestone as the first successful half-match Thalassemia Major Transplant in North Maharashtra.
