Malavika Kaura Saxena, Chief Marketing Officer of Rusan Pharma, has welcomed the government’s decision to scale up cancer care centers under Budget 2025, calling it a “transformative step” toward easing the strain on India’s healthcare infrastructure.

“The expansion of cancer care centers will improve accessibility and relieve the burden on overstretched healthcare systems,” Saxena stated. She urged policymakers to ensure these centers integrate pain management and palliative care, emphasizing their role in holistic cancer treatment.

Saxena also praised the tax exemptions on life-saving drugs and rare disease therapies, noting that such measures would enhance affordability and availability for patients. “These steps align with Rusan’s mission to prioritize patient-centric, accessible healthcare solutions,” she added.
