Motherhood Hospitals and Winning Stree Celebrate International Women’s Day with Empowering Event
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Motherhood Hospitals, Gurgaon, in collaboration with Winning Stree, hosted a special event dedicated to recognizing and empowering women. The gathering emphasized the importance of work-life balance and raised awareness about critical health concerns affecting women today. Over 100 women participated in the event, which was graced by esteemed chief guests, including ACP Susheela, ACP Surinder Kaur, ACP Kavita, and all SHOs from the Gurgaon Women Police Station.
As part of the celebration, a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Mastering Work-Life Balance” brought together distinguished speakers from diverse fields. Among them were Dr. Beena Muktesh, Clinical Director of IVF at Motherhood Fertility & IVF, Gurgaon; Dr. Prachi Sarin Sethi, Senior Consultant Obstetrician, Gynecologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Motherhood Hospitals; Mr. Anil Arora, Sub Editor Director at Chetan Advertising; Ms. Vinnie Mathur, General Manager - External Relations; and Ms. Swati Gupta, Investment Banker and Co-founder of Save Capital. The discussion shed light on the challenges of balancing career, family, and personal health, with a strong emphasis on the effects of modern lifestyles on women's well-being.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Beena Muktesh highlighted the growing health challenges faced by women due to today’s fast-paced lifestyle. “Stress, irregular eating habits, and lack of sleep significantly impact women’s reproductive health. Many women prioritize family and work over their own well-being, often delaying essential health checkups. It is crucial to take proactive steps to maintain hormonal balance, improve diet, and focus on mental well-being,” she stated.
The event also honored exceptional women for their achievements and societal contributions across various fields. A special segment was dedicated to recognizing women police personnel, who shared inspiring insights on managing their demanding roles while maintaining personal commitments.
Dr. Prachi Sarin Sethi emphasized the need for preventive healthcare, stating, “Women often ignore symptoms or postpone routine checkups, leading to long-term health complications. At Motherhood Hospitals, we are committed to raising awareness and ensuring women prioritize their health.”
Speaking on behalf of Winning Stree, Tanusri Chakraborty expressed pride in collaborating with Motherhood Hospitals. “We aim to celebrate the resilience of women and inspire them to make healthier lifestyle choices while prioritizing their well-being,” she remarked.
Motherhood Hospitals continues to spearhead initiatives that promote women’s health, advocating for increased awareness and access to preventive healthcare solutions across all age groups.
