After she was declared brain dead at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh, her family chose to donate her organs—an act of kindness that gave critically ill patients a second chance at life.

While her liver and one kidney were transplanted at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh, the second kidney was sent to Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram. Her lungs traveled even farther—to KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad—giving yet another patient a new lease on life.
