​Bapatla College of Pharmacy (BCOP), established in 1995 by the Bapatla Education Society, is one of the first private pharmacy colleges in Andhra Pradesh, India. Located in Bapatla, a town renowned as an educational hub, the college is situated on a 55-acre campus that it shares with other prestigious institutions.

BCOP offers a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program, admitting 100 students annually. Additionally, it provides Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) courses with specializations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacology, each accommodating 15 students per year.

The college boasts state-of-the-art teaching and laboratory facilities, including a pilot plant of APOGEN Remedies—a pharmaceutical drug manufacturer—and a CPCSEA-approved animal house facility. The campus features expansive grassy areas, well-lit, tree-lined paths, and is easily accessible by road from Bapatla town.

BCOP is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college emphasizes high-quality teaching and research in a hygienic and conducive atmosphere, aiming to cater to the needs of the industry and community healthcare systems.

In collaboration with various national funding sources such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Department of Science and Technology (DST), and Department of Biotechnology (DBT), as well as pharmaceutical companies like NATCO Pharma and APOGEN Remedies, BCOP has generated discoveries and innovations that have brought international recognition. 

The college maintains an Industry–Institute partnership cell to foster academic excellence and facilitate industry interaction. It also houses a pilot plant of APOGEN Remedies, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to support extensive research work.
