​Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), located in Rohtak, Haryana, India, is a public university established in 1976 under Act No. 25 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. Originally named Rohtak University, it was renamed in 1977 to honor the Indian social reformer Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati. The university's motto, "Vidya Vindate Amritam," translates to "Learning bestows the nectar of life.

The MDU campus spans approximately 665 acres and features state-of-the-art buildings and a comprehensive road network.
