Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic used to relieve mild to moderate pain. It is often used in combination with other medications to enhance its pain-relieving effects.-Mild to moderate pain relief -Often combined with other analgesics to improve efficacy
-Adults: Typically 30-60 mg every 4-6 hours as needed. The maximum recommended dose is 360 mg per day. -Children: Dosage should be determined by a physician based on the child's age and weight.
-Allergy: Hypersensitivity to dextropropoxyphene or other opioids -Respiratory Conditions: Severe respiratory depression or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) -Severe Liver or Kidney Impairment: Dextropropoxyphene is metabolized by the liver and excreted by the kidneys.
