Brahmi
Bacopa monnieri is a herb commonly known as Bramhi in India. Brahmi is a potent sedative drug and exhibits analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, anti-convulsant, anxiolytic, anti-cancer, antioxidant, antiulcer, and antimicrobial properties. It is available in powder form as well as in syrup form.Anxiety or stress, depression, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, seizures, asthma, hair fall, pain, inflammation, irritable bowel syndrome ( IBD), and cancer.
The standard dose for Bramhi is 300-500 mg per day.
It is contraindicated in patients with thyroid problems, stomach ulcers, and pulmonary disorders.
During pregnancy and lactation, Brahmi should be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness.
It is not recommended to take Brahmi with other sedative drugs.
