Clobetasone Butyrate is a corticosteroid used for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It is applied topically to reduce inflammation and itching associated with various skin conditions.

Indications

Clobetasone Butyrate is indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.


Dosage

Apply a thin film of Clobetasone Butyrate cream or ointment to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your healthcare provider.


Contra-Indications

Do not use Clobetasone Butyrate if you have a known hypersensitivity to corticosteroids or any of the components in the formulation.


Special Precautions

Use with caution in children and on large areas of skin or under occlusive dressings, as absorption may be increased.


Side Effects

Common side effects may include skin irritation, burning, itching, or redness at the application site. Prolonged use or excessive dosage may lead to systemic side effects.
