Etizolam
Thienotriazolodiazepine.Anxiety, tension, depression, neurasthenic symptoms or sleep disorders in neurosis. Cervical vertebral disease, low back pain and tension headache.
Anxiety : 05-1mg BID or TID, Panic disorders with agoraphobia : 0.5mg BID, Neurosis or depression : 1mg TID, Psychosomatic disease, cervical vertebral disease, low back pain or Tension headache : 0.5mg TID, Sleep disorder : 1-3mg at bedtime. Maximum dose : Adults: 3mg/day, Elderly- 1.5mg/day. Treatment should be as short as possible; duration of treatment should not exceed 8-12 weeks
Myasthenia gravis, acute angle-closure glaucoma, pregnancy, breast feeding, hypersensitivity, serve respiratory failure or hepatic impairment.
Severe hepatic, renal, cardiac and cerebral organic disturbance, children, elderly patients, patients with weakness, driving, pregnancy, delivery or lactation, children.
Drowsiness, light-headedness, malaise, jaundice, thirst, nausea, retching, rash and weakness.
CNS depressants-phenothiazines, barbiturates and alcohol; MAO inhibitors, Fluvoxamine maleate.
