Phenindione is an anticoagulant medication used to prevent and treat blood clots. It functions by inhibiting the synthesis of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors, thereby reducing blood clotting.

Indications

-Prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders (e.g., deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism). -Prophylaxis for patients with a high risk of clot formation.


Dosage
